FAQ

Question: "Can I place an order over the phone?"

Answer: We do not take orders over the phone. We can assist you if you having trouble with the checkout, but cannot take payment information over the phone. Please place an order online.

 

Question: "How can I search for products by size?"

Answer: You can input sizes directly into the search box. Make sure to use this format IDxODxW. For example, searching for a metric bearing with a 8mm ID, 22mm OD, and 7mm W would look like: 8x22x7. For an inch size bearing with a 0.5 inch ID, 1.125 OD, and 0.3125 W would be in fraction form and look like: 1/2x1-1/8x5/16. You can also use the filters on the left hand side of the page. If you don't see them, scroll down; they are below the categories. If you don't see the dimensions that you're looking for, it could be that we don't have it listed on the website. Reach out to our sales department sales@bearingsdirect.com and they will do their best to help.

 

Question: "How can I get a quote?"

Answer: You can either fill out the contact us form on our website, or head over to our sister website onlinebearingstore.com and request a quote over there for any product you see here on Bearings Direct. Please note that there will be minimum order quantities.

 

Question: "How can I have my order shipped out with UPS Collect?" 

Answer: Please contact us before placing the order. The checkout will not give you an option for UPS Collect.

 

Question: "I did not receive a confirmation email confirming my order. Where is it?"

Answer: Please check your spam folder as order confirmations and shipment emails are automated. If you don't see it in your spam folder, contact us and we will send you another copy.

 

Question: "Can I get an invoice for my order?"

Answer: Invoices are automatically emailed to you when you complete your order. If you did not receive one contact us and provide your order number so we can find your order.

 

Question: "When will I receive my order?"

Answer: When your order ships you will receive an email with a tracking number which should have an estimated delivery date. Check your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox. For more information on shipping, please reference our shipping policy. 

 

Question: "Can I send you a bearing to match up for me?"

Answer: Yes, you may. Please contact us and discuss with our customer service or sales team before sending us any packages or products. Our teams may be able to assist you without having to have the bearing here for inspection. We do not cover shipping costs either way.

 

Question: "I bought the wrong bearing. How do I exchange it for the right one?"

Answer: You will need to log into your account and create an RMA request by clicking on 'Return Items?' to the right of your order. You can place a new order for the correct bearings. Our standard return policy will apply. We recommend contacting our customer service team (cs@bearingsdirect.com) and letting us assist you with finding the correct bearings.

 

Question: "I purchased a few products from you a couple months ago, can I still process a return or exchange?"

Answer: No you may not. Our return policy is only for orders within 30 days of your order date. 

 

Question: "Where are your bearings made?"

Answer: We have bearings from all over the world. AMPEC brand products made in China by one of our manufacturing partners under our supervision. They have exceptional quality in comparison to other standard offerings from China.
