About Metric Right Hand Thread Male Rod Ends

Metric right hand thread male rod ends have an externally threaded shank with a standard right hand metric thread. Rod ends (also called heim joints) are spherical bearings in an eye with a threaded shank or body, used to connect linkages, control rods, cylinders and steering and throttle linkages while allowing angular movement.

Bores run from 10 mm to 30 mm.

Right hand and left hand threads are often used together on the two ends of one rod, so turning the rod adjusts the overall length of the linkage, like a turnbuckle. For left hand threads, see Metric Left Hand Thread Male Rod Ends. See all Right Hand Thread Male Rod End Bearings.
