About Metric Tapered Roller Bearings

Metric tapered roller bearings have tapered rollers running between a tapered inner ring assembly (the cone) and a tapered outer ring (the cup). The angled contact lets them carry heavy radial and thrust loads together, which is why they are used in wheel hubs, gearboxes, axles, differentials, machine tool spindles and agricultural equipment. They are normally mounted in opposed pairs to take thrust in both directions.

Our metric tapered bearings follow ISO numbering and are sold as cone and cup sets. Choose the series by load and space:

  • 30200: light series, the most common
  • 30300: medium series, a larger section for heavier loads
  • 31300: steep contact angle for higher thrust loads
  • 32000: thin section, with a smaller outside diameter for the bore
  • 32200 and 32300: wider versions of the 30200 and 30300
  • 33000 and 33200: wide series for high capacity

For inch sizes, see Inch Size Tapered Roller Bearings.
